Dear Family Members,

 

The 2020 JFR is going virtual due to the Covid-19 Corona Virus.  Several motivated Jenkins family members, headed by E'Lexus Daniels and Sydni Harris have decided to apply online technology so that we may still come together as a family, in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Below are the details of our (Virtual) 38^th Anthony and Barbara Jenkins Family Reunion.

How to access FB live on the mobile app: 

1. Open the Facebook app. The Facebook app has a blue icon with a white "f". Tap the icon on your home screen or apps menu to open the Facebook app.

• If you are not automatically logged in, enter the email address or phone number and password associated with your Facebook account. Then click Log in.

2. Tap the icon that resembles a TV screen. It's at the top of the screen on Android phones and tablets. On iPhones and iPads, it's at the bottom of the screen. This is the Watch tab. This displays a list of videos from users and pages you follow. It also displays a list of other recommended videos from other Facebook accounts.

• If you don't see the Watch tab at the top of the Facebook app, tap the icon with three lines (☰) in the upper-left corner to view the menu. Then tap Videos on Watch.

3. Tap the magnifying glass icon (iPhone only). On iPhone, tap the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner to display the search bar at the top of the screen.

4.  Enter a username, video title, or category in the search bar. The search bar is at the top of the screen. This allows you to filter videos that interest you.

• Alternatively, you can scroll down until you see a menu in your feed that says "What's on Watch." Tap the red button that says Live to view a general list of recommended live videos from users and pages you follow.

• On iPad and other tablets, you can tap the tab that says Live at the top of the screen. This displays a list of recommended Live videos from users and pages you follow, as well as other recommended videos.

5. Tap Live. It's at the top of the page next to "Filters." This filters your search results to display Live videos, as opposed to pre-recorded videos.

6. Tap a video. Live videos have a red icon that says "Live" in the upper-left corner. Tap a video image or title below the video to view the video.

• The live video chat is displayed below the video.

7. Tap the X icon or back arrow to stop watching. When you are ready to stop watching the video, tap the "X" icon in the upper-right corner of the video on iPhone and iPad, or tap the back button at the bottom of the screen on your Android phone or tablet. 

How to access FB live via Mac or PC:

1. Navigate to https://www.facebook.com in a web browser. You can use any web browser on your PC or Mac.

• If you are not automatically logged in to Facebook, enter the email address or phone number and password associated with your Facebook account at the top. Then click Log In.

2. Click the icon that resembles a television. It's at the top of the screen. This is the Watch icon. This displays a list of videos from users and people you are following on Facebook, as well as other recommended videos.

• If you don't see the Watch tab at the top of the screen, click the button that says See More in the menu to the left. Then click Watch.

3. Click Live. It's in the menu to the left. This displays a list of live videos from users and pages you follow. It also displays recommended live videos.

• Alternatively, you can enter the name of a video, user, or category in the search bar at the top of the menu to the left. Then click the toggle switch next to Live below "Filters" in the menu. This displays live videos, as opposed to pre-recorded videos.

4. Click a video. Live videos have a red tag that says "Live" in the upper-left corner. Click a video image or the title below the video image. This displays the video in your web browser.

• You can view the live video chat in a panel to the right.

5. Click the X icon to stop viewing the video. When you are ready to stop watching the video, click the icon with an "X" in the upper-left corner of the video playback.
